Sweetness remained

"How are you?"
"I'm alright."
Lately, "I'm alright" has been like my default answer. I truly understand that they care but I feel like I've always been someone who is "報喜不報憂", a Chinese expression of "report the good, never the bad". Especially when it comes to things that are close to my heart. Perhaps I just didn't bear to allow people to carry my burdens or emotions. Negative energy is intangible and I understand how it feels to get absorbed into one's negativity in the long run. Probably that's why I truly find it hard to share only trying to cope with it myself.
Waiting for the rain to pass and the sun to shine again.
An interesting read to share below:
"Is it raining, little flower?
Be glad of rain;
Too much sun would wither one;
It will shine again.
The clouds are very dark, it's true;
But just behind them shines the blue.
Are you weary, tender heart?
Be glad of pain:
In sorrow, sweetest virtues grow,
As flowers in rain.
God watches, and you will have sun,
When clouds their perfect work have done."
