Close to the closure of 2017

 2017 in summary: Very grateful.

This year was rather different as compared to the previous years, definitely even better.
I was able to step out more, see more & experience more. From this year's internship experience, to riding different carnival rides (since decades ago) and to serving God in
the publicity team for Unify camp 2017.

It felt really different but I know that I'm enjoying these moments. Part of it is probably I've also figured out my own puzzle and really learn to let go of some of the things that are not meant to be. & sometimes, it's about learning to take short breaks.

I'm really thankful for the people that I've met during my 3 months of internship, for the
skills that i've learned, for the conversations that i've had with them and the exposure
that i've gained. Now I'm starting to miss the internship moments with them. :-(

I'm really thankful for the people that I've met and worked with during the Unify camp 2017.
Honestly I've never ever pictured myself being part of the serving community because
I probably would not have the courage to step out.

However, during these period of serving God in the publicity team where I get to design the camp booklet for the Primary 6s and capture photographs before & during the camp, It was a really sweet experience to me. I don't feel the fear nor the hesitation, i just did it. With that, I thank God for the courage and the guidance throughout this whole experience. To me, that's the biggest breakthrough this year.

Lastly, I'm thankful for the people who've stayed in my life all these years. Despite all the possible life obstacles and all our busy schedules, I could see how everyone made an effort to make meet ups happen, to keep conversations going, to keep our hearts opened to one another and even to people with little words but have showered their love for the people around them. I'm excited to grow with you guys.

Every person you meet in life, is part of the life lesson to learn.

Have a happy new year! Merry 2018!

sincerely,
YJ.
